The Awards Ceremony

Join us at the awards ceremony

The Wanderlust World Guide Awards culminates each year with an award ceremony to celebrate the finalists - held at London’s Royal Geographical Society.

The ceremony draws a large audience of Wanderlust’s readers, travel writers, tour operators, some very special guests and of course the awards finalists themselves – the planet’s best guides.

The evening gets underway with a drinks reception in the Map Room, where you can rub shoulders with our judges – including Bill Bryson – and the Wanderlust team.

Shortly after, we invite you into the Ondaatje Theatre, one of London’s foremost venues for presentations, for the main event of the night.

Take your seat in the auditorium and hear how last year’s winners have used their bursaries to benefit their community and to learn what set this year’s finalists apart from the thousands of other nominees.

Find out who is the deserved winner of our sought-after Gold award, earning them a bursary of £5,000, plus who will take the Silver and Bronze bursary prizes.
